Poodles are one of the most popular pet dog breeds in the world. Poodles are active and intelligent.
They come in four sizes, Standard Poodle, Medium Poodle, Miniature Poodle, and Toy Poodle, and have distinct characteristics for each group. However, they belong to the same breed and the difference in sizes is due to their past usage.
American Kennel Club gives it a rating of 5 out of 5 in both affectionate with family and good with young children categories. Poodles have secured a three out of five rating on good with other canines.
However, the most important factor about Poodles is they do not shed. In fact, they are one of the least shedding dog breeds available on the market. They need to get brushed quite frequently due to their wavy and curly long fur, but we would not mind playing with our little Poodle twice a week right?
They tend to be in constant play mode and never get tired, so keeping up with them might be a challenge. Kids will love to have a non-stop competition running around the park with them.
