Description

Join us for this fantastic annual event to celebrate the American Bald Eagle as well as all birds of prey! This family-friendly event has something for all ages. The event will take place simultaneously at JP Davis Hall as well as the FL Schlagle Library at Wyandotte County Lake, so be sure to visit both sites. Operation Wildlife will give numerous presentations on the live birds of prey on exhibit through out the day at both locations. Birds on exhibit may include a Bald Eagle, owls, hawks, falcons and even a crow and a turkey vulture. At the library, we will also have a children's craft area, binocular check out as well as a spotting scope station to view the migrating birds that visit WyCo Lake in winter.
