Mark your calendars for the 2022 Pittston Tomato Festival set for August 18th- 21st, 2022!
No event is more associated with Pittston than it’s world-famous Tomato Festival!
Over seventy-five thousand people will attend the four-day event that has been touted as one of the best festivals in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Delicious food, a variety of live entertainment, a parade, 5K run, games, rides, arts and crafts, bingo and of course home-grown Pittston tomatoes keep bringing an enthusiastic crowd to the festival year after year.
In addition to the food, entertainment, and games, an annual highlight of the Pittston Tomato Festival is the Annual Tomato Contest. Everyone is welcome to enter his or her tomatoes at no charge in this contest.
Ribbons will be awarded in four categories:
1- Largest
2- Smallest
3- Ugliest
4- Most Perfect
The contest will be held at the committee stand on Saturday, August 20th at 7:00pm. Please drop off your tomato by Saturday at 5:00 p.m!
