Personal Statement

I am thankful to be gifted both academically and athletically, and I would like to further both in college. Over the years, I have been working hard to be the best student athlete I can be. I always work hard to maintain a high GPA, and that drive does not disappear on the soccer field. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be a goalkeeper, and I worked hard to get there. After I was awarded the position at age twelve, I have never stopped trying to be the best goalkeeper and teammate I can be by continuing to perfect my skills and making sure that, now as captain, my teammates can count on me to lead them well.
