Personal Statement
I want to play for a competitive college that has a strong sense of team, that focuses on player development and winning. What makes me different is I'm good under pressure and have been told that I have really good control with all my pitches no matter what the count. I am highly competitive and enjoy all aspects of the game, especially the camaraderie amongst my teammates and coaches. My goal is to play at the highest level possible and advance my skills each and every year that I continue to play.
2017 Accolades:
- As a Freshman in HS last year threw a complete game no-hitter (7 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, and 0 ER) and finished the year with a 4-1 record.
- Youngest player (age 14) on "Seniors Little League" Team (ages 15 & 16) in which that Team made it to the State Championship and I recorded save in game 2 win.
- Lou Tomkins Summer Team (5-1 record) - 38.1 IP, 32 H, 6 ER, 16 BB, 58 K's, 1.09 ERA, 1.25 WHIP
I feel I would bring a strong character and integrity with tough mental and moral qualities to your team. I have a good natured and outgoing personality and get along really well with teammates and coaches. I take direction and constructive criticism really well and have a positive outlook and attitude on things.
I am looking forward to playing for a school that will allow me to have a well-rounded college experience consisting of a good education and to reach my goal of playing baseball at the college level. Baseball has been a huge part of my life and the past two seasons I've played for as many as three different teams as the same time. I feel I was able to balance this successfully through open communication with my different coaches.
Baseball is my passion I have been playing since I was 3 years old.
