Personal Statement

2005 Goalie

Dear Coach,

I'm your game-day goalie, determined to play hockey as long as possible.  I am a team player and have helped my underdog teams make their way to regions and playoffs, beating the odds.  

In the off-season, I play baseball.   I joined an amateur baseball team in addition to high school and summer league when I was 14 and I understand the value of earning your spot on the team.  

I plan to pursue an engineering degree and am also interested in real-estate with the goal of playing college hockey.

I'm coachable, I work hard and work as a team.   I don't quit and have mostly been on underdog teams so I know what it means to keep your head up, and in the game.  

This year '22/'23 I pursued a new opportunity outside of high school in an effort to further my development. The coaching I'm receiving with the MN Squatch has already helped me improve my game, especially 5 hole, bar down and 3rd and 4th rebounds.
