Anna-Maria Sieklucka: The Famous Character Laura in ‘365 Dni’

The international romance film 365 Dni (365 Days) wh Sieklucka’s ich is a popular Polish book, hit Netflix in June 2020 and its new episodes or volume 2 just arrived on 27th April 2022. And are considered as a polish version of 50 Shades of Grey on steroids.

Despite her initial uneasiness about playing the part, because of its controversial plot and because it would be her first time on the big screen, the 28-year-old, Sieklucka’s was the first preference for screenwriter Blanka Lipińska.

Revealing on Instagram, Lipińska who also penned down the trilogy upon which the film is based, said: “I remember when my producer showed me her photo and asked me who she looks like. At first, I thought it was me. Later during casting she blew me away, her acting amazed me and the chemistry between her and Massimo convinced me she was right for the part.”

The movie begins when an attractive Italian mobster named Massimo abducts an equally charming girl named Laura, performed by Anna-Maria Sieklucka, and gives her one year to fall in love with him. If she does not, she will be free to go. It is a simple exotic concept, but morally bad and deeply troublesome.

Before appearing in the erotic thriller alongside Morrone, she had only one other acting recognition, a single episode of a Polish medical drama series called Na dobre i na zle.

She performed in numerous plays while studying at the Wrocław-based State Theater School, but this was her first time on the big screen. She discovered a lot while filming, she says. On the press tour for the film, according to The Sun, Sieklucka noted, “The biggest surprise while working on this film was related to the emotions inside me, which I had to bring out.”

Netflix’s Series 365 Days Is Finally Released On 7th April 2020

After a long wait, now the wait is over and the leading Netflix series 365 days released.

As the viewers have already watched the highly-anticipated sequel and now can not wait to know the other suspicions and thrills of the movie.

However, in the film, it is seen that the chemistry and the body language of the leading stars, Michele Morrone and Anna-Maria Sieklucka, are so strong and intense.

She was born in Lublin, Poland, on May 31, 1992. Sieklucka attended the Secondary High School Hetman Jan Zamoyski, and went on to graduate from the State Theater School in Krakow, Poland, according to Gala.pl. Sieklucka’s father, who is a lawyer in Poland, is proud of his daughter’s blossoming acting career. “My dad is a man who gives me great support every time. There is no situation where I could not count on him” the actress said in an English translation of an interview with Gala.pl. “The fact that I had to play such a brave role did not change it in any way. He is proud of me, so his reaction was positive.”

Despite the intimate scenes and good on-screen chemistry, Sieklucka and Morrone are not in a relationship in real life.

The actress is very private when it comes to her boyfriend, actor and director Łukasz Witt-Michałowski, she did share one picture of him on her Instagram. Captioned mainly in Polish she wrote “Jedno. Prywatne. I więcej nie będzie. Peace and love ❤” which says in translates to “One. Private. And there will be no more.” The comments section on this specific Instagram post is currently turned off.

The optimistic couple met while studying together at the Wrocław branch of the State Theater School in Krakow, Poland, according to Eska. Witt-Michałowski, who’s 18 years her senior, even directed Sieklucka in his theater production, Clay of Inna Clay.

Besides, her acting, her Instagram shows her love for travel, including photos taken on a trip to Mexico and the Canary Islands. Anna-Maria Sieklucka now has more than 2 million fans following.

Criticism for Anna-Maria Sieklucka

Now, with the actress signed up for the second part of the trilogy, fans can wait for a lot more excitement, despite controversy continuing to batter the original film.

The most current criticism comes from Welsh singer Duffy who wants Netflix to eliminate 365 Dni because of its carelessness and glorification of kidnapping and rape, something which the singer says happened to her.
