ATLANTA -- Those blue bikes you see in Downtown and Midtown Atlanta are moving north to Buckhead.
The Buckhead area of Atlanta now hosts the newest expansions of Atlanta's Relay Bike Share program. The new hubs will be stationed at Tower Place and Piedmont Center.
The program is simple -- you sign up for a a bike, unlock it, take it for a ride, then drop it off at any bike share station.

Becky Katz, Atlanta's chief bicycle officer for the City of Atlanta, said it's all part of the city's plan to offer a simple way of getting around in Atlanta.
"This has basically give people who haven't biked for awhile, or are just visiting, or have some interest in biking, the ability to try it out," Katz said.
Mayor Kasim Reed committed to the bike share program in 2012 as part of a plan to integrate bicycling into the daily life of the residents of Atlanta and its visitors.
The program rolled out in Atlanta one year ago this month with only 100 bikes in 10 Downtown locations. Ultimately, though, the bike share program hopes to offer 500 bikes with more that 50 stations city-wide.
