Bessie Mae Greenhouse – Metropolitan Funeral

Bessie Mae Greenhouse was born October 9, 1934 to the union of the late George Williams and Bessie Aull in Columbia, South Carolina. She relocated to Norfolk, Virginia at the early age of 17. She worked many years for Old Dominion University as a head cook until her retirement.

Bessie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40+ years, Norward Greenhouse; her loving brother, George Aull; and her beloved grandson, Derek Williams “Smoke”.

Left to cherish her precious memories is her daughters, Cynthia King and Sharon Elsey (Acey); one son, Dennis Hudson (Nanette); one nephew, Christopher Aull; eleven grandchildren, Nicole, Corey, Harold, Jeffrey, Shawn, Dana, Demarcus, Dennis, Latoya, Antwon and Jada; thirty four great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and a host of family and special friends
