Personal Statement
As a three sport athlete in high school I have learned to value the life lessons that sports have taught me. Teamwork, commitment, discipline, achieving goals and most important overcoming adversity. I was placed in a position of adversity early in my high school baseball career when I was selected to the freshman B team as the team captain. I knew I only had one season to prove myself to the coaches so I worked hard and by mid-season I was moved to the A team as their starting shortstop and eventually played up on varsity during that same summer season. Baseball has always been my true sports passion and I plan on working hard and doing whatever is needed to continue playing throughout my college career.
My ultimate goal is to find a college that matches both my academic and athletic abilities. I have proven to my coaches to be a team leader both on the field, in the dugout and most important at team practices. As a sophomore in high school, I plan on using the last three years of high school to both sharpen my baseball skills and solidify my high school transcripts so that any college or university would be proud to consider Bobby Rinaldi a member of it's baseball team and student body.
Thank you for taking the time to read through my profile. If you should have any questions or can offer any advice to this aspiring player please do not hesitate to write back. Hope to see you on the field one day.
