Personal Statement

My name is Brandon Andracki,  I am currently a Junior at Hilton High School in Hilton, New York.  I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and I was really inspired to play by my dad who went to Rutgers to play soccer as a goalkeeper and went on to play Pro with the Rochester Rhinos. I have been playing Varsity Soccer at Hilton since I was a Sophmore. During my Sophmore year we won Sectionals for Section V for the class AA divison and won the division.  My current club team is the Rochester Lancers Academy 03 Blue.  Last year we took second  in the New York State Cup.  My primary position is the #9 and my secondary position is the #6.  However I can adapt to any position on the field.

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to continue to play soccer throughout college. I am looking for a college that fits both my educational and soccer needs. I would like to pursue a career in Accouting. My goal is to play for a team where I can contribute to the team, be a part of a bigger family, and be a team player.  What makes me a good candidate for a college team is my dedication, competiveness, and my work ethic.  I am not willing to give up and will always strive for greatness.

What makes me different from other recruits is I work hard in school to strive for good grades. I am currently taking 2 AP courses and 3 IB course during my Junior year of High School. I am also a Candidate for National Honor Society and have completed over 30 hours of community service during my high school years. Academics will always be my first priority but my dedication to my studies translates to the soccer field. I am a hard worker, good listner, team player, and have learned valuable lessons on managing my time and being well balanced between school, soccer, and work.  As a soccer player I strive to be better by listening to what my coaches tell me I need to work on or improve upon and I am able to accept feedback both positive and negative. In my free time you can find me at a soccer field or in my backyard practicing shooting and working on improving my foot skills and agility. My pace and my height set me apart from other recruits. Being 6 feet tall is an advantage on the soccer field. I strive to be the best I can be and will always work harder to reach my goals.
