Butchers of The Bayou True Story on A&E

Butchers Of The Bayou killers Sean Vincent Gillis is serving a life sentence at Louisiana State Penitentiary and Derrick Todd Lee passed away in 2016.

Derrick Todd Lee was a serial killer who terrorized the Baton Rouge area for almost a decade. He committed many brutal crimes including assault, burglary, murder, and stalking from August 1992 to March 2003. 

Lee was apprehended on May 27, 2003, from Atalanta, Georgia. Among his victims were Dianne Alexander, Geralyn DeSoto, Charlotte Murray Pace, Collette Dwyer, Randi Mebruer, Gina Green, Pan Kinamore, Trineisha Colomb, and Carrie Yoder.

Derrick was convicted by the jury and sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. He died of a heart attack on January 21, 2016, at a hospital in Louisiana. 

Sean Vincent Gillis was involved in a series of crimes from March 1994 to February 2004 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 

The 60-year-old is convicted of first-degree and second-degree murders. Gillis was apprehended on April 29, 2004, and a murder trial began for the slaying of Donna Bennett.

Eight innocent people fell victim to the serial killer over a time span of ten years. His victims included Ann Bryan, Katherine Ann Hall, Hardee Schmidt, Joyce Williams, Lillian Robinson, Marilyn Nevils, Johnnie Mae Williams, and Donna Bennett Johnson.
