Personal Statement

Attending the largest high school in the state of Oklahoma has allowed me to see and experience many things that will benefit me not only in my college career but in my life after college.  I have played on large teams where playing time is determined week by week.  This environment has forced me to put in the extra time not only on the playing field but also in the classroom, as individual time is limited and nothing is promised.  

I would like to further my career in an environment that will allow me to continue to lead by example, maintain my integrity and where hard work reaps rewards.  I am a self starter that will not be out-worked and loves to compete. Everyday is a competition and their is always a winner....and a loser.

I am a multi sport athlete but football is my passion. I thrive in the team environment and owe a lot of who I am today to all my years competing on the gridiron.  I am a team player, I believe in the process of developing the "pieces of the puzzle" that make program successful, I am determined to get better everyday.  I am blessed...and do not believe in potential or wasted talent.  You will not regret taking a chance on me.
