Clippers employees wore T-shirt after Blake Griffin's FA meeting likening him to MLK, Obama, Ali, JFK, Lincoln, Gandhi, MJ,Einstein,Mandela.

What does Blake Griffin have in common with Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln, Barack Obama and Nelson Mandela?

Probably nothing. No offense to the five-time NBA All-Star, but dunking over a car and appearing on Broad City isn't quite comparable to fighting for civil rights and/or leading a nation.

Don't tell that to the Los Angeles Clippers, whose employees wore shirts featuring Griffin alongside those historic leaders as well as John F. Kennedy, Mahatma Gandhi, Albert Einstein, Michael Jackson and Muhammad Ali.

Per The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears, they donned the bold T-shirt following his free-agent meeting. The 28-year-old will reportedly sign a five-year, $173 million deal to stay with the Clippers, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

Perhaps the flattery helped woo Griffin into remaining in Los Angeles, but the organization might have gone a tad overboard.
