LONDON, England (CNN) -- The woman at the center of the sex scandal at England's Football Association has broken her silence about her relationships with England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson and former FA boss Mark Palios.

Former FA secretary Faria Alam divulged graphic details about her sexual encounters in interviews with British newspapers published Sunday, describing the England coach as a "master of the art of lovemaking."

She also blasted the FA for the way it handled the scandal.

Alam, 38, told the Mail on Sunday how Eriksson rang her during the Euro 2004 championships in Portugal, sharing with her the highs and lows of England's campaign.

After England were knocked out by Portugal, Eriksson fled to Sweden and was devastated, she said.

He rang her and she accepted his invitation to join him at his Swedish home, Alam said. It was there that the couple first slept together, she said.

Alam -- who has been married once -- also told the paper that she hoped the weekend would be the start of something permanent.

She said that Eriksson had stopped calling her, but if he did ring again she would tell him she loved him.

"I vowed that I would never marry again but I was so in love with Sven that had he popped the question I really think I would have said yes," she told the News of the World.

"I wish Sven would call me to prove he's not like the others. It would mean everything to me if we could come out as a proud couple."

Alam branded Palios "a rubbish lover" and said she was attracted by the aura of power the FA boss had.

She claimed Palios betrayed her and Eriksson when the story of their affair was revealed by the News of the World.

"He was willing to hang the both of us just to try and save his own neck from the noose," she said.

She told one newspaper that she was "shocked and disgusted" by former FA communications director Colin Gibson's attempt to reveal full details of the Eriksson affair in return for keeping quiet about Alam's relationship with Palios.

Palios and Gibson have both resigned in the fallout of the scandal. (Full story)

Alam resigned from her job Thursday.

Alam was believed to make at least £500,000 ($910,000) from the exclusive interviews as well as an interview with ITV's Tonight with Trevor McDonald.

The spotlight will continue worldwide with serialization deals with Asian television stations and numerous magazines, beginning in Britain and Sweden.

Eriksson's agent, Athol Still, said the England coach was now looking forward to continuing with the job he began three years ago.

But Alam said she advised Eriksson to quit his job, saying that some in the FA "want to destroy him."

"The knives are out."
