Personal Statement

I would like to play junior hockey and obtain an education for a career. I have been playing hockey since I was 5 years old. I have also been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I am currently playing goalie on the Lansing Spartans Midget AA team, the starting high school varsity soccer goalie, and play travel soccer in the spring. In addition to goalie, I also enjoy playing defense in both hockey and soccer and have excelled as a defenseman in both hockey and soccer. I feel I am an excellent candidate for a team because I am a hard worker, I follow directions, I maintain a positive attitude, and I am team orientated. I am coachable, well-liked by teammates and coaching staff in multiple sports, team orientated, self-motivated, respectful, and hard working.  I have played in the Meijer State Games Ice Hockey tournament multiple times. I have won the Ferris State University 3v3 goalie tournament and competition. I also enjoy boating, water skiing, swimming, tubing, and fishing. This year in school my two advanced classes are AP calculus and Advanced Chemistry. Some additional athletic information: Deadlift 600lbs, and squat 400lbs.
