Personal Statement

Ever since I have been able to hold a club I have been playing the game of golf.  Playing on a college team is a once in a lifetime opportunity and has been a goal of mine since I was little.

I have a very good understanding of the game.  I strive to be the best I can and show amazing dedication.  I practice year round and put in a lot of extra work. 

I participate in two clubs SALT and DECA. In SALT (Student Athletic Leadership Team) I work in the community and in the school.  For example I will do 50/50 raffle and do volunteer work in the community. DECA is a club surrounding the business field.  We do community work in that club as well along with other fundraising activities throughout the school. 

I want to find a college where I can not only make myself a better golfer but also a better person.  I am open to all options
