Danisha Williams's Women's Track Recruiting Profile

I am influenced by my family who have molded me into the person I am today. Also, experiences have shaped me into who I am today. I've always liked sports and have been drawn to them. Track is the sport that stood out the most. I learned that I am a very competitive person, leader, and a team player. I learned that when I am running it clears my mind. I'm not hurting, not feeling anything, not even thinking of worries, simply running free.

I plan to graduate high school as a student- athlete with at least a 3.6 GPA and with a barber's license (which is my major). I plan to major in mathematics in college and get a bachelor’s degree. I had to overcome many obstacles to get where I am. I’ve learned from them, grown from them, and understand that it has all happened for a reason that will make sense later. I consider myself to be caring, humble, and passionate about what I do. I am very open-minded. I hope to find a college and track team that compliments my personality and allows me to pursue my goals.
