Debbie Glymph Nacogdoches TX obituary was shared by her family.

Debbie Glymph, who was married to the late Max Crawford Glymph, passed away on March 12, 2019, surrounded by her family at Keowee Place Assisted Living in Westminster.

Lorene had a deep personal connection to the city and its people. She was born in Oconee County and was the daughter of Revered M.J. Stansell and Fannie Taylor Stansell, both of whom passed away before her.

Her own contributions to the city were numerous. She worked for South Carolina Employment Security Office for many years prior to retiring.

Also, she used her time devotionally as a participant of Westminster Baptist Church – singing in their choir, taking part in their Adult Elective Sunday School Class, and being an active volunteer at Dot’s Kitchen.

Though it is with saddened hearts, we mark her passing, people can still cherish the memories that she left behind.

Patricia “Pat” Stansell Glymph, beloved mother and grandmother, was surrounded by a loving family.

Her surviving kin includes son Donnie Glymph and his wife Gail of Seneca; Truett Stansell and Edna of Westminster; two grandchildren – Michelle Glymph from Charlotte, North Carolina, and Brian Glymph and his wife Debbie from Nacogdoches, Texas – as well as two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Katie.

Sister-in-law Nancy Spearman of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, and sister Mary Stansell of Cumming, Georgia, offer remembrances; there are also numerous nieces and nephews who honor her memory.

Preceded in death by daughter Debbie Glymph; brothers Furman Taylor Stansell, Jack Stansell, MJ Stansell; sisters Helen Cody and Audrey Jean Smith; and Pat’s own parents and husband — her generous spirit radiates above all.

The family of the late John Doe cordially invites friends and colleagues to join them in celebrating his life at a funeral service on Saturday, March 16th.

Dr. Randy Kesler will be presiding over the service, which is to take place at Westminster Baptist Church starting at 1:00 p.m.

In advance of the ceremony, the family will be present between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., should any guests wish to pay their respects in person or share their own special stories with them.

Immediately following the service, all are asked to join together for a burial at Oconee Memorial Park as we each reflect on John’s life and remember how it touched us all.
