Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) will fight Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) for the WBC and The Ring titles on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Wilder vs Fury boxing fight will be telecasted on ESPN+ PPV.
Previously these fighters met twice in and Fury defeated Wilder in February 2020 via a seventh-round technical knockout. He is ranked as No. 1 heavyweight by ESPN. Further, Fury previously held WBA (super), IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles.
Wilder first fought Fury in December 2018 and it was a draw. In the first boxing bout, Wilder scored two knockdowns, but Fury was phenomenal and won the majority of the rounds.
Hopefully, tonight’s fight will end the rivalry. The winner may have the opportunity to face WBA (super), IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. Although Fury had an interest to fight WBC interim champion Dillian Whyte, it is uncertain. For now, let’s focus on the Wilder vs Fury fight.
