Personal Statement
I AM A FOOTBALL “TEAM” PLAYER!!...I Can’t summarize myself any better than that. From the first time I suited up at 8 years old on “mighty-mites” I loved the sport. I played football in the junior league (Pop Warner)(Argonaut Jr. Mustangs) from age 8 to 14, then into high school. I realized I wanted to play football in college during my last year in the junior league. Since then, I dedicated myself to the sport of football, to my team, and my grades; not mention most of all, my family.
I’m very passionate about winning each game, but I feel responsible when we don’t. I continually work on becoming a better player so that I can be a better asset to my team, and to be worthy of playing football at the next level. I have committed myself to off-season training as much as my in-season training to become stronger, faster, and better. My absolute goal is to play football in college where ever that may be, which is why I am just as passionate about my grades as football.
I approach each practice and each game as a separate challenge to be better than the last one. I do not accept failure, but apply the lesson learned from failure. I believe in being a positive influence within my team by showing honor, respect, and loyalty. I lead by example when in a position to do so and I support the leaders before me. My bottom line, I want to play football!... And, I will continue to be committed to do so.
