Eddie Steeples, born November 25, 1973 in Spring, Texas, is an American actor and producer with a net worth of $500 thousand. Steeples got his start in the entertainment industry in 2001 and has since appeared in advertising campaigns for OfficeMax and played Darnell “Crabman” Turner on the popular sitcom My Name is Earl.

Despite his early aspirations to become an actor, Steeples initially struggled to find success in California and eventually moved back east, stopping in St. Louis before attending Howard University in Washington D.C. He eventually landed in New York City, where he joined various film and hip-hop groups and made a cameo appearance on The Chris Rock Show.

Steeples is related to professional boxer Lemeul Steeples, who died in a plane crash alongside his U.S. Olympic team in 1980. He is best known as the “Rubberband Man” from his OfficeMax commercials and has acted alongside notable stars such as Ice Cube and Angela Bassett.
