Erick Thohir: 'Messi for Inter Milan? Why Not?'  

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Inter Milan new owner and president Erick Thohir talked about winter transfer window as it is closing by. Thohir mentioned the possibility to sign Lionel Messi.

"Will we sign (Lionel) Messi? I will talk to management about that matter," said Thohir. La Pulga himself is currently taken by injury, ruling him out of his best days as Catalan's effective goal-getter.

Taking Messi to Giuseppe Meazza will certainly not be an easy task for Thohir. Messi is still bound by contract to Barcelona up to June 2018. Inter will also have to prepare a buy-out clause of 250 million euros and a set of salary worth 20 million euros per season.
