Personal Statement

Walking into my high school career as a freshman on varsity volleyball was the highlight of my volleyball career. However, I feel that I have most grown as a person and an athlete when moving schools during the summer of my junior year. This experience allowed me to grow as a person and athlete because it forced me out of my comfort zone, to learn how to work and connect with people I have never played with before and compete for a starting spot against returning players.

I was blessed with the opportunity of being apart of the number one team in WESCO 4A and having the opportunity to compete in state championships. I learned the value of teamwork, sacrifice, and communication throughout my journey to state championships. I am looking for a program that will be the best fit for me both athletically and academically. I strongly believe that talent is not the only factor in a successful team but the work ethic, communication, and leadership skills make an tremendous impact on your program. As a previous three-sport athlete and a successful academic student, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader both on and off the court for your team!
