Indonesia's Kelingking Beach at Nusa Penida Listed in Tripadvisor's World's Best Beaches

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Kelingking Beach in Nusa Penida, Bali, is listed among the Best of the Best Beaches in 2023 according to Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Award. Ranked at number 16, Kelingking Beach got 4.5 out of five stars from 1,587 reviewers.

Each winner has passed our rigorous trust and safety standards. Fewer than one percent of Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings are awarded Best of the Best, signifying the highest level of excellence in travel.

The top three spots are taken by Brazil's Baia do Sancho beach, Aruba's Eagle Beach, and Australia's Cable Beach.

One of the reviews called Kelingking Beach picture perfect and "Instagramable" and "super worth the bumpy ride" that it took to get there.

Another recent review said the beach was a "high class service for good price round these parts of the world and the people are super friendly too so we have enjoyed immensely."

With steep cliffs offering a panoramic view, visitors must descend a 150-meter cliff to reach the beach, which is quite a struggle given the 70 degree slope.

In addition to relaxing on the beach, visitors can also snorkel and see plankton and manta rays which are usually found in abundance between July and October every year.
