Personal Statement

My name is Jackson Boone. I am a tennis player based in Vancouver, Canada, going into grade 12 at Magee Secondary School. I will graduate in 2020 and my goal is to play tennis and study at an NCAA Division I School upon graduation. 

I have been training in a high performance tennis program for the past six years and have seen consistent year-over-year growth and improvement. Recent results and achievements include

My playing style tends towards aggressive baseliner with a forehand weapon, while coaches have remarked on my problem-solving ability and keen on-court intuition. I have a winning record when playing tight matches and embrace opportunities presented during pressure play.

I currently train on-court 6 days a week, plus fitness twice a week.
