Personal Statement

My name is Jacqueline Cardenas and i am 17 years old. I been playing soccer since i was 12 years old , my club soccer team and I went to state 3 times, we have won 1st place in state. I play in a division 2 team , most of my teammates are older than me and i play for school varsity , this past few years i been seeing my skills improved alot. When I was in 7th grade i received a reward for being the most defensive player on the team , also in 2015 we had a school soccer tournament and I was awarded with a MVP award for scoring most goals throughout the tournament and having good skill and sportsmanship. I take soccer really serious, I dislike it when people say "I Caint Do It" because everyone can do anything along as long as they put all their effort and try their best to accomplish their goals. It takes time accomplishing things you want to succeed in, but you have to try your best and go in with a positive attitude and go in with 100 percent and come out with a 100 percent. Another thing I keep in mind is to never give up, giving up is like throwing way all the hard work, and dedication you put into it. I honestly believe that I would be good on anyone's team because my hardwork and dedication I put to the sport.
