Personal Statement

My name is Jalynn Faith Edwards, I am 17 years old, I am a Middle/OPP for the class of 2025 and I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I started playing volleyball in 2017 and found my passion for the game instantly. I love the lifelong friendships that I have created with my teammates most of all, but getting a solid block or kill for my team is a close runner up!

I enjoy having fun on and off the court but I know when it is time to put my game face on. I take volleyball seriously and one of my strengths is my punctuality. Respectfully, I have never missed a game, practice, private session or tournament. I am grateful for the opportunity that I have been given to compete in the game I love! 

My ultimate goal is to experience playing volleyball at the collegiate level and accomplishing my academic goals of getting my college degrees. 

My high school varsity team and I just won our State Championship this season  and I couldn’t be more proud of us!
