Personal Statement

I am a two year starting Running Back for the varsity team. My performance last season is one of my highlight as it reflects a 457 yards in Rushing earning a spot in the Top 15 and averaging a 76.2 YPG ranking number 8 for the entire High School Div. 2 in the State of Hawaii. I was awarded Offensive Player of the Year during my Sophomore year and received a medal for Honorable Mention during my Junior year. I also play volleyball which I was a starting Middle Blocker for the junior varsity team and has a 12-1 win record in 2014 season.

As a student, I am in the Honor Roll and my first semester has been my best as I am currently trending a 3.9 GPA. As a student-athlete, I am dedicated and a hard worker who strives to reach greater heights in everything that I do. I do not settle for mediocre performance.  I showcase my leadership skills through moral character, respect and setting positive examples to my peers.

During off season, I maintain a regular exercise that's involves weight training to increase strength and muscle and cardio for continuous improvement with my speed and agility. During my social time, I am involved with the Kauai Leaders Against Suicide. We provide awareness against suicide particularly in teens.

I would like to go to a college in any division where I can showcase both my talent in football as well as academics. I am open to attending any college that will offer me the education and experiences to help me prepare in the profession that I have chosen. In return, I am committed to give my 100% in becoming the best athlete that I can be.
