Jimmy Stewart Cause Of Death – How Did He Die?

Jimmy Stewart’s cause of death was publicly revealed after everyone learned about his sudden death. 

The Hollywood industry mourned the death of a legend and gave tribute to him by recalling the best of human values as a brave military hero, a loving husband, a good father, and a giant among men.

Hollywood Olympian Jimmy Stewart, 89, who helped create a national culture via his roles as a movie actor and had an all-American image and worldwide appeal, passed away from a heart arrest in 1997 at his Los Angeles home.

He died from cardiac arrest at his home on July 2, 1997. He was unable to cope with his wife’s death trauma and lost his life. His last words were dedicated to his late wife, Gloria Hatrick McLean. 

His last wordings were, “I’m going to be with Gloria now.” Further, he said, “If the time comes when my life has no more purpose, I won’t hold on to it,” Stewart said. “I won’t fight God if he wants to take me.”

The late couple got married in 1949. Sadly his lady-love left him alone in this world, and she died on February 16, 1994. 

Together they had two twin daughters and adopted his two biological sons, who were born from his previous marriage. 

As per sources, before his death, he was admitted to the hospital for an irregular heartbeat. After a year, he died from a heart attack.

Over the course of a five-decade career, Stewart performed the roles of pioneers, lawmen, cowboys, military officials, politicians, businesspeople, reporters, fools, and wise men, in addition to everyday folks.

In “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” (1939), he played a young senator with ideals who battled the powerful political establishment; in “The Spirit of St. Louis” (1957), he played Charles Lindbergh, who flew across the Atlantic.

In “The Glenn Miller Story,” he played bandleader Glenn Miller, who perished in a World War II plane crash (1954). He was a cunning country attorney who outsmarted the slick city types.

Condolence 

His several fans and friends sent condolence and prayers to his family

Wasserman said, “He was my favorite friend,”   who repped with repped him between 1944 and l962. “It’s very sad for me but I also know that he will live on forever in the films he made.”

One remembered him by saying, “Sorry to learn of Jimmy’s passing; he was a well-respected citizen of Comrie and will be sorely missed.”

Others posted, “So sorry we will be unable to pay our respects to Jimmy as we are away but be assured we will be thinking of u all. RIP Jimmy”.
