John Mooradian's Baseball Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

My name is John Mooradian I am a student athlete, from Marlboro High School in Marlboro New York. I am a 2016 graduate with a strong desire to play baseball at its highest level. I am a 5 foot 9 inch 155 pound middle infielder with a secondary position as a catcher. I made varsity baseball as a freshman and was able to earn the starting shortstop position. I am the lead off hitter and last season held down a strong .345 batting average.

I believe what sets me apart from other players is my knowledge of the game and my hustle. I am a hard worker and a leader both on and off the field. I am a high honor student in the top 20 percent of my class. I am a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.

I am currently in my third season with the Newburgh Nuclears 19u American Legion Tri Post 152 team. I am a co-captain that plays middle infield and catches.

My ultimate goal is to attend a college that challenges me academically and as an athlete. I am driven, focused and play with a passion for the game.
