John Stonehouse children Mathew, Jane and Julia Stonehouse are from his first marriage with Barbara Smith. John also has another son James William John with Sheila Buckley. 

John Stonehouse was a Co-operative Party politician and minister who addressed the cabinet of Harold Wilson. He is renowned for attempting a fake death of himself in 1974. 

Stonehouse was born on 1925 July 28, in Southampton, Hampshire, England. At sixteen, he joined the Labour Party. 

John graduated from Taunton's School and studied BSc at the London School of Economics (LSE). During his time at LSE, he was chairman of the chess club. In 1957 he was first elected as the Labour Co-operative Member of Parliament for Wednesday in Staffordshire. 

In 1962 he started working for Czechoslovakia. There he served as a junior minister and was involved in British Overseas Airways Corporation. Similarly, in 1967 he became Minister of State for Technology and later Postmaster General until 1969.  

After 1970, he began running many companies for a regular income. By 1974, most of his companies faced financial trouble, and he had to bear the loss. After this, he decided to run away from the Department of Trade and Industry.

On November 20, 1974, he pretended his death by leaving a bundle of clothes on a beach to make it seem like he had drowned. Just after the month of his disappearance, he was arrested in Melbourne. 

Sadely, on March 25, 1988, at 62, John passed away on set in Birmingham during a program shooting as he suffered a minor heart attack.

Politician John Stonehouse has three children from his first marriage and one from his second marriage.

John has two daughters named Jane and Julia, a son named Mathew from his previous wife, Barbara Joan Smith, and a son named James William John from his second marriage with Sheila Buckley. In December 1982, the couple became parents of a son, James.

Julia Stonehouse is a specialist in the history of biological science, including theories of conception. Some of the books by Julia are John Stonehouse, My Father: The True Story of the Runway MP, The Misconception Files, and so on. Her most famous book is John Stonehouse, My Father: The True Story of the Runway MP, where she describes her father's real story and expresses her love and gratitude for him.

The politician had his first wedding with Barbara Joan Smith in 1948 in London, but the couple has separated. 

At the age of 23, John married Barbara. The couple stayed together for 30 years and has grown their family with three children. On 13 November 1974, the couple celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary at their favorite restaurant. 

When John has his faked death rumor all over, she is destroyed and broken from the inside. Then, in 1978 the couple ended their relationship after he was arrested on fraud charges. 

She also has a private Instagram account, with the handle @barbarasmith21235, with more than two hundred followers and one hundred ninety-eight posts. She is away from the limelight and uninterested in sharing her personal life.

John Stonehouse had his second wedding with Sheila Buckley in Hampshire on 31st January 1981. 

Shelia was an assistant of John who worked with him when he was a member of Parliament. The two have been together for a long time. Their relationship was revealed to the family and the public when John was arrested in Australia after he attempted his fake death. 

Buckley was just 22 when she got attached to her boss John. She got a companion to share everything with after she got to know her husband had cheated on her, and she started the process of divorce with her husband. Despite the age gap, she fell in love with him.

After his divorce from his first wife, Sheila and John married in 1981 and lived together until his death. Furthermore, he has made her a director of his companies. She also has an Instagram with the handle @sheilabuckley, which is private and has more than three hundred followers and hundred posts.
