At least 33 young men and boys were r*ped, tortured, and murdered by American serial killer and s*x offender John Wayne Gacy.

Gacy frequently performed as Pogo the Clown or Patches the Clown, the two personalities he created at philanthropic events and children’s hospitals.

He carried out all of his killings in his ranch-style home located near Norridge. It was a community in a Chicago suburb in Norwood Park Township.

John Wayne Gacy’s Last Words Before His Death

On May 10, 1994, Howard Peters III, the superintendent of prisons at Stateville Correctional Center in Crest Hill, Illinois, reported that John Wayne Gacy had been declared dead at 12:58 a.m.

He was shot to death to end his life. The man who was responsible for the deaths of 33 boys and men was ultimately put to death after serving 14 years in jail.

A massive crowd witnessed his death outside the prison.

Gacy was asked if he had anything to say while strapped to the gurney, which would eventually be the last thing he felt before passing away.

His last words were, ‘Kiss my a**.’

What Happened To John Wayne Gacy’s House? Where Is It Now?

Authorities discovered 29 young men’s remains in 1978 in John Wayne Gacy’s home’s crawl area.

In 1979, a year after investigators discovered dozens of dead bodies in a crawl passage, the house he lured them into was demolished.

The house sat vacant until Hoyne Savings & Loan purchased it in 1984. Soon, a woman acquired the land and constructed a new house for her elderly parents.

In an effort to keep nosy bystanders from breaching their privacy, the woman even altered the house’s phone number.

According to property records, the house was sold to what appears to be a financial institution for $300,000 in 2004.

After that, the house remained on the market for another 15 years. Despite the fact that it was posted in 2019, it took over two years and a more than 19% reduction before it was sold in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, a severe housing shortage, and record-high property prices.

According to property records, the house, which features vaulted ceilings, a two-sided fireplace, and a skylight, was sold in March 2021 for $395,000.
