Personal Statement

Volleyball has been an integral part of my life since middle school. I love the thrill of the game and the rush of adrenaline that comes with each point. It's not just about the physical aspect but also the mental challenge of strategizing and reading the other team's movements. My goal as a player has always been to play college volleyball while earning my college degree. As a volleyball player, being able to play in college would be an opportunity to continue playing at a more competitive level.

It takes hard work, dedication, and passion to be successful at the next level. I would be a great asset to your program. As a setter and right side, I can be a beneficial player to a 6-2 offense. Although those two positions are my prominent positions. I have the ability and determination to be a versatile player. I have played libero, setter, right side, and middle during my club team seasons. I am a hardworking and passionate person on and off the court. I am a supportive and encouraging teammate. I am a coachable player who can take constructive criticism. I give the most effort in anything I do, whether volleyball or academics.

Throughout my life, I have participated in various sports, including cheerleading, softball, volleyball, basketball, and soccer. These sports showed me how to grow not just as a player but as a person. Sports have shown me how to be a part of a team, deal with adversity, accountability, dedication, and hard work. Overall, volleyball has given me so much, and I'm grateful for all the lessons and experiences it has provided me. I can't imagine my life without it, and I look forward to continuing to play and grow as a player at the collegiate level.
