Personal Statement
In my senior year I am playing football for a new Coach, I am fortunate to be a part of his new program. He is a great leader and cares not only about football but making really great men and future leaders of our country. I did not play in my sophomore year, but have every other year since I was 5 years old. Playing football has taught me many things that I will be able to use throughout my life like team work, making commitments and keeping them, that sometimes in life I will need to sacrifice, and that even when I am part of a team that I can stand out as a leader. I do already stand out just due to my size alone, 6’9, 297.
It is important to me to be a part of a program that will help me to continue to grow as a student-athlete. I have goals of completing my college degree while being able to focus on the rest of my life and taking the steps to set myself up for success. I believe that I will be an asset to a college team, I am a leader, have a positive attitude, team oriented, and have great work-ethic. I have also played soccer, basketball, baseball, wrestling, and received my junior black belt in Martial Arts. I will be a great asset to a team and I am looking forward to great success for many years to come.
