Ke Huy Quan wife Corinna Ke Quan prefers to stay away from spotlight. The couple tied the wedding knot after dating for two years. 

Director Jonathan Ke Quan better known as Ke Huy is an American actor and stunt choreographer born in Vietnam. 

Quan is best known for his appearance in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, where he portrayed Short Round, aka the cab driver, who helps Indiana Jones escape from Lao Che. It was also the actor's debut role which he landed after auditioning at his school. 

According to IMDb, the 51-year-old has 17 acting credits. Though Huy made his debut at a young age, he remained inactive from the 1990s until the early 2020s. He was away from acting due to the lack of opportunities and roles but made his comeback with the 2021 film Finding Ohana as George Phan. 

Ke's other recent breakthrough came with the 2022 film Everything Everywhere All at Once.

1) Ke Huy Quan Is Married To His Wife Corinna Ke Quan

Ke Huy Quan is married to his wife Corinna Ke Quan. 

The couple dated for two years before tying the knot. Unfortunately, they have not shared anything about their marriage including images or the date of the wedding. 

In fact, Ke's wife Corinna has remained away from her husband's spotlight. She has never shared a frame with her husband in the images he shares on his social media account. The actor also does not speak much about his wife's personal life in public. 

According to EW Magazine, Corinna was very crossed with Ke when he brought home the fanny bag to practice for the movie Everything Everywhere All At Once and broke several things at his home. He would carry the bag everywhere from the living room to their bedroom.

Ke Huy Quan's parents are of Chinese descent and lived in Vietnam for several years. 

Although Ke has not mentioned the names of his mother and father, he remembers their sacrifice and hard work to bring the family to safety in the US. 

Quan's father fled Vietnam with his five children and settled in Hong Kong at a refugee camp in 1978. The same year, his mother took three children to Malaysia from Vietnam. The family reunited in Los Angeles after all of them immigrated to the states. 

Ke often phoned his mother from the sets of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. He even referred to George Lucas and Steven Spielberg as bearded men 1 and 2. 

Similarly, in his other movie The Goonies, Quan spells out a curse word instead of pronouncing it as his mother made him promise not to use any bad words in his movies.

3) Ke Huy Quan Has Eight Siblings

The Everything Everywhere All at Once actor has eight siblings in his family. 

Ke is one of the nine children of his parents but has not shared any revealing details about his siblings yet. 

However, Quan's brother was the one who auditioned for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom for Short Round. He was coaching his brother from behind the camera when the casting director noticed his acting talent.

The director then asked Quan if he wanted to give it a try. By the next day, Ke was selected as a cast member of the movie. 

Apart from the one brother who auditioned for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Quan has not disclosed anything about his other siblings.

4) Ke Huy Quan Is Not Related To Jackie Chan

Ke Huy Quan is not related to Jackie Chan despite their physical resemblance. 

Quan and Chan do not share any family ties. And the two also have nothing in common other than the fact that both have Asian heritage.

Further, Quan is a huge fan of Jackie Chan and has watched all of his idol's movies multiple times.

Actor Quan is 51 years old as of 2022. 

Ke was born on August 20, 1971, in Saigon, South Vietnam. His hometown is currently known as Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. 

The talented actor spent most of his childhood in Vietnam. He fled the country with his father and five other siblings at the age of 7 years old in 1978. Quan then lived for a year in a refugee camp in Hong Kong before migrating to the US. 

Huy attended Castelar Elementary School, Mount Gleason Junior High School, and Alhambra High School for his school education. He then joined the USC School of Cinematic Arts for his college and acting degree. 

Ke's acting career started at the age of 12 with his iconic role as Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
