Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant was seemingly pleased with the Washington Commanders for hiring Kliff Kingsbury as the team's new offensive coordinator.
Kingsbury agreed to terms with the Commanders on Sunday, Jordan Schultz reported for Bleacher Report.
"Welcome Kliff," Durant wrote in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. "Who's next?????"

The two-time NBA champion is a Washington D.C. native who isn't shy about his support of his hometown football team. Durant attended parts of the Commanders' training camp in July 2023, making an appearance at an open practice as a fan.
"It's great to have KD here," former head coach Ron Rivera said at the time, per the team's official website. "I know he is a local guy. I know how much of a Washington Redskins/Commanders fan he is. Great to have his support. I mean, it is great to have the fanbase back."
After Rivera was ultimately fired following a 4-13 season, the Commanders hired former Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn as his replacement. Quinn has previous head coaching experience with the Atlanta Falcons from 2015 through 2020.
So does Kingsbury, as he patrolled the sidelines for the Arizona Cardinals starting in 2019 before he was fired in Jan. 2023 following a 28-37-1 overall record with the organization. He's had prior success at the collegiate level, serving as the head coach for a Texas Tech program that produced several NFL players before joining Arizona, most notably Patrick Mahomes.
He also spent the 2023 season as a senior offensive analyst for USC and standout quarterback Caleb Williams. Kingsbury was initially a candidate for the Las Vegas Raiders' offensive coordinator role before he withdrew himself from consideration on Saturday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
