Personal Statement
Playing softball at the collegiate level has been a lifelong goal of mine. I’ve loved this sport all my life. From the first day when I walked on the field for T-ball to playing for my high school and travel teams, I’ve always known that this is where my passion is. Today, I continue to feel the drive and competitiveness that I believe will bring success to me and my team at the next level.
I pride myself on being a coachable team player with a relentless drive to win. I realize that there is always more to learn from great coaches who have the insight needed to make me a better player, and that hard work in practice leads to success in games.
My background in martial arts has taught me how to work hard and stay focused which directly translates into my commitment and determination to always do my best, both academically and as an athlete. I currently maintain a 3.8 GPA and aspire to attend a school with a great Exercise Science program and a competitive softball team.
I will always do what is best for the team, staying committed and making the necessary sacrifices to have success in my collegiate softball career. I strongly believe that I have the drive, the skill set, and the leadership qualities to play at the collegiate level, and that I would be a great fit for your team.
