Kristin Daly's Softball Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

My name is Kristin Daly. I have been playing softball since I was 8 years old and it has become a big part of my life. In 9th grade, I was the captain of my Junior Varsity team and got moved up to Varsity during playoffs. Last year, I was a starter in right field for Varsity. This 2012 season, my high school softball team won the Nassau County Championship, the Long Island Championship and we were runner ups in the New York State Championship. I recieved All-Conference. Not only am I a catcher, I play third base and outfield. I am a dedicated player on and off the field. More importantly, I am a dedicated student. Going into my senior year, I didn't choose an easy schedule. I am enrolled in 2 AP courses, Physics, Pre-Calc and my last year as a shymphonic band member. My academics are very important to me and I strive for excellence. It is my dream to play softball at the next level; if I stopped after high school, I would be losing a part of me. My desired major would be in the field of biology. I would love to take my academic skills and athletic talent to the next level.
