I am strongly interested in playing field hockey at the college level in the fall of 2019. Playing field hockey has helped me to develop self-confidence, teaching me that grit and perseverance make a difference when striving for excellence in what I do. Overall, my positive experiences as a field hockey player have helped me to become more well-rounded on and off the field.
Currently, I am a varsity starter in the position of midfielder for South Plainfield High School in South Plainfield, NJ. I have been on the varsity team since my freshman year. I was recently named the "Athlete of the Week" for my school. I was an all-county and all-conference athlete last year and am well on my way to being recognized again this season. This year, I have 10 assists and 7 goals scored. I have helped my team to a 13-5-2 record.
In addition to my excellent field hockey skills, I am a very good student. My SAT score is 1540 (790- math/750- verbal). As a high school junior, I am taking five Advanced Placement courses and have already earned a "5" on the Advanced Placement World History Course that I previously completed. I have all A's throughout my high school career.
I am very interested in studying Chemical Engineering at a top college that will afford me the opportunity to play field hockey.
Recently, I posted a video highlighting my field hockey skills. It can be found on YouTube at the link: .
I can be reached on my cell phone at 732-662-0007. My e-mail address is [email protected].
I hope that the coaches who review this profile will contact me so that they can learn more about me as a field hockey player and as a student.
