Personal Statement

Coach, my name is Maddox Green, and I come from a fascinating background as part of a military family. My upbringing allowed me to live across the world, and I believe helped to shape the athlete that I am today. I started my swimming career in Misawa Japan before continuing to hone my skills in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and London, England before landing back in the United States. I hope to continue that career here. My goals for the future are to get as many sectionals as possible, especially in the 50 free, 100 free, and 100 fly.

Living and being a part of so many different and close-knit communities growing up I love to help my teammates excel as best as possible. I’ve learned over the years to really comprehend and listen to my coaches’ teachings in order to become the best swimmer I can be. I’m really looking forward to growing and learning with a new team over the next four years.

As a student, I’m looking for a college with excellent engineering, finance, and business programs.
