Personal Statement
As a student in a medical program, I aspire to become a doctor in hopes of breaking ground in important research studies. Not only am I a dedicated (and forever interested) student in the classroom, but I bring my motivation with me to every practice and game. On top of lettering for my school team in soccer and basketball, I spend my summers volunteering at the local hospital to accelerate my exposure to my future career. I am very punctual, and always utilize my extra time in bettering my athletic skills. I ask coaches what I can do on my own time to correct any mistakes, so I can come to practice with a better focus. My size in the goal has proven to be incredibly advantageous, especially when clearing any high balls or attempted chips. I firmly believe in pushing myself and finding weak spots where I could always be better. I would be an asset to any collegiate soccer program with my competitive spirit, persistence, and opitmistic attitude.
