Martin Barre is an English musician and songwriter known for his work as a long-running member of the British rock band Jethro Tull. With more than 60 million albums sold worldwide, Barre has amassed a net worth of $50 million.

Born in Kings Heath, Birmingham in November 1946, Barre is proficient in playing guitar, mandolin, flute, saxophone, and bouzouki. He joined Jethro Tull in 1968, a year after the band formed, and has since contributed to more than 20 albums.

Jethro Tull’s albums Stand Up, Thick as A Brick, and A Passion Play all reached #1 in the UK and US. Barre is well-known for his signature solo on the popular Jethro Tull song “Aqualung.”
