Matt Judon is not planning to lose out on any money this offseason.

The New England Patriots edge rusher missed the organized team activity sessions that were open to the media last week and was described as "in and out" of the team facility by head coach Jerod Mayo.

His absence will not continue too much longer, however, as the four-time Pro Bowler confirmed that he would for sure be in attendance for the franchise's mandatory mini camp.

"Hell, yeah," Judon said when asked if he would attend minicamp, per Karen Guregian of MassLive, "I ain't giving no money away."

Judon is entering the final year of his contract with the Patriots and will have a $14.6 million cap hit in 2024. This could be a source of his absence from OTA's, although avoiding injury could definitely be another consideration.

Judon only played four games in 2023 as his season was cut short due to a torn bicep. He was effective in his short season, registering four sacks and nine quarterback hits in those games.

This production is exactly what Patriots fans have come to expect from the dynamic rusher. Since joining the team ahead of the 2021 season, Judon has registered 32 sacks and 133 total tackles. He finished in the top-10 for Defensive Player of the Year in 2022 and has been a franchise face for the Patriots since the departure of legendary quarterback Tom Brady in 2020.

He has been floated as a trade target for contending teams ahead of the 2024 season, but he does not appear to be a holdout candidate and should be ready to go for New England as the team looks to bounce back from a 4-13 season in 2023.
