The Mega Millions jackpot was originally $12 million for winners who choose the "Annual Payout" option for annual payments over 26 years, or a $8 million lump sum payment.

Since no Mega Millions player won the jackpot on Tuesday night, the jackpot for this Friday may be raised up to $15 million.

Although there was not a Mega Millions jackpot winner last night, one lucky lottery winner gained a fortune overnight by matching the 5 white Mega Millions numbers.

The Californian winner only missed the gold jackpot number, so he or she will be receiving a check for $134,320.

From Tuesday, there were also 37 Mega Millions winners who matched four white numbers and the gold jackpot number, winning $10,000 each.
