The family says the Virginia father went missing a few days before the Christman. Relatives say that some blood trails were discovered that led them to find his car abandoned in the nearby woods.
It was reported by Jose Guerrero’s girlfriend that a “big amount of blood” was discovered in the back seat of his Hyundai car, which was found on 23 December, two days after he went missing.
Authorities say that Virginia’s father went missing on 21 December in Woodbridge, which was 23 miles south of Washington, DC.
First Sgt. of the Prince William County Police Department, Jonathan Perok, declined the comment from sources asking for detail about the mysterious disappearance of Guerrero.
Jonathan shared an email in which it was described that the agencies would only release “pertinent details as needed” to find Guerrero.
He added, “Our message is and continues to be asking for anyone with information to come forward.”
Sheila Perez, Guerrero’s girlfriend, said she didn’t know where her boyfriend was planning on going, but he told her that he would return back in five or ten minutes.
Sheila had a 10-month-old child with her boyfriend, Guerrera, and she said, alongside the family, she immediately filed a missing complaint when he didn’t return. She also said they found his car 2 miles away from their home.
Andrea Salgado, Guerrero’s mother, said, “My son would never do anything or hurt anyone. There was no Christmas for us. There was no celebration. We were grieving for my son.”
Prince William County police accused Perez that they failed to take serious action to find her boyfriend. She accused authorities because they believed her boyfriend had run away.
