Najee Harris breaks off his longest run of the year

Najee Harris just broke off his longest run of the year by far — 45 yards — and then came up limping. It’s been a tough year for the second-year back.

Devin Singletary racks up PPR points

For the second straight drive, the Bills move right down the field against the Vikings, and Devin Singletary finishes it off with a 1-yard touchdown run. Buffalo leads 14-7.

Devin Singletary looked to have a very tough matchup against the Vikings this week, as Minnesota’s rush defense ranked second only to Tennessee in rushing fantasy points allowed per game since Week 6 (9.6), but he’s put that idea to rest by racking up 15.3 PPR points with 1:04 left in the first quarter.

That is Singletary’s second highest point total of the season and puts him within range of topping his season high 24.1 points in Week 3.

Dolphins force first Nick Chubb fumble of season

After the Browns moved the ball 45 yards and into Dolphins’ territory, RB Nick Chubb is stripped by Zach Sieler and Miami recovered.

Chubb entered the day with the second-most rushes in the league without a lost fumble this season. (Only Cincinnati’s Joe Mixon had more).

Josh Allen still running hard despite elbow injury

Check out this run from Josh Allen. He’s sticking to his play style even with the right elbow injury even though it looks like he tried to protect the elbow a bit on the collision.

Chiefs' Kadarius Toney scores first career touchdown

Late last month, the Chiefs traded for second-year receiver Kadarius Toney, as the team gave the Giants a compensatory 2023 third-round pick, which the Chiefs acquired as a result of the Chicago Bears hiring Ryan Poles as their general manager, and a 2023 sixth-round pick.

In his second game with the Chiefs, Toney scored his first-career touchdown, an easy 6-yard reception in which he, using just his right foot, hopped into the end zone.

Steelers strike first vs. Saints

The Steelers strike first against the Saints in Pittsburgh. On third-and-goal from the 1, George Pickens takes a jet sweep handoff and turns straight upfield, diving over the goal line for the score. Kenny Pickett led Pittsburgh 57 yards on 12 plays, including a fourth-and-2 completion to keep the drive alive.

Dolphins respond to the Browns

Dolphins answer right back with a 10-play, 84-yard touchdown drive of their own to tie the game with the Browns 7-7.

Tua Tagovailoa was 5-for-5 for 42 yards including the drive-capping 13-yard touchdown pass to Alec Ingold.

Vikings continue to start fast

The Vikings have scored touchdowns on a league-leading 66.7% of their opening possessions.

Broncos' Jerry Jeudy (ankle) questionable to return

Jerry Jeudy went down on the Broncos' first offensive snap. He was Russell Wilson's intended target on a deep shot. Broncos say Jeudy (ankle) is questionable to return.

Giants' Lawrence Cager notches first career touchdown

That looked as easy as you'd expect. Giants just marched down the field. mostly pounding runs with big personnel and then play-action bootlegs off of that. Practice squad TE Lawrence Cager caps the drive with his first career TD,

Vikings open game with a 22-yard touchdown

After a punt on the Bills' opening possession, the Vikings march right down the field — thanks to a 46-yard completion from Kirk Cousins to Justin Jefferson — to score. It was Cousins to Jefferson, again, on a 22-yard touchdown to give Minnesota a 7-0 lead.

Sports betting world has faith in Josh Allen

The point spread in the Minnesota-Buffalo game dropped to 3.5 points when it looked like Josh Allen might miss this game, but it moved back up to 6.5 points when it was clear that Allen was playing in this matchup.

That showed the sports betting world’s faith in Allen and that faith seems undisturbed by the Vikings early touchdown, as Buffalo is still listed at -2.5 points in live in-game betting at BetMGM.

Russell Wilson closing in on 300 career TD passes

With two touchdown passes today, Broncos QB Russell Wilson would reach 300 for his career.

It would make him the fifth active QB to reach that milestone, joining Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan and Matthew Stafford.

Browns jump out to early lead

Jump-started by a 48-yard Jerome Ford return on the opening kickoff and a 38-yard completion from Jacoby Brissett to Donovan Peoples-Jones, the Browns march to the end zone and take a 7-0 lead on the Dolphins.

After a pair of Miami penalties, Brissett hit Harrison Bryant for the 1-yard TD pass.

Cleveland leads 7-0 early in the first quarter.

Bears' offensive line missing right guard Teven Jenkins (hip)

The Bears' offensive line is missing its best player this season: right guard Teven Jenkins. He's out with a hip injury. Veteran Michael Schofield is starting in his place against the Lions. Jenkins has allowed only one sack over 221 pass-block snaps this season, according to TruMedia. He's also one of Pro Football Focus' highest-rated guards this season.

NFL Week 10 expert roundtable

NFL Week 10 expert roundtable

This week’s Thursday night game may not have been the best advertisement for the NFL. Sure, Carolina looked slick in its all-black duds and alternate helmet, but with Tropical Storm Nicole wreaking havoc with the weather, the Panthers’ 25-15 win over the Falcons was less than pretty.

Though workhorse back D’Onta Foreman carried the ball 31 times for 130 yards and a touchdown, neither team moved the ball much through the air, the Panthers were whistled for 10 penalties and the team’s kickers — Atlanta’s Younghoe Koo and Carolina’s Eddy Pineiro — went a combined 1-for-4 on extra points.

Despite all of that, in the less-than-pretty NFC South, the 4-6 Falcons could still be tied for the division lead at the end of the weekend. Hooray for parity!

But wait — there’s much more to Week 10 still to come. How will Jeff Saturday fare in his head-coaching debut? Is last week’s comeback win by the Buccaneers a sign that Tom Brady is returning to his old self? How will Josh Allen’s injury affect the intriguing Vikings–Bills matchup in Buffalo? The Athletic’s Mike Jones, Mike Sando and Matt Schneidman dish on what they’ll be watching Sunday and Monday.
