Free agent offensive lineman Robert Hunt, who spent the first four seasons of his career with the Miami Dolphins, is reportedly leaving town for a five-year, $100 million deal with the Carolina Panthers, per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Hunt finished sixth among 79 offensive guards in 2023 Pro Football Focus grades. He's also 28th overall (second among guards) on its 2024 free agent list.

"At 6 foot 6 and 335 pounds, Hunt got his NFL start at tackle, lining up on either side in his rookie season and holding up admirably," PFF wrote.

"He found a home for the past three seasons at right guard and was a great fit in the team's zone rushing attack under head coach Mike McDaniel."

The 2020 second-round pick out of Louisiana has played 61 games (55 starts) over his four-year career, and he's played an instrumental role in the Dolphins' explosive offense, especially in 2023, when the team finished second in scoring.

Ultimately, Hunt's success made him a coveted player on the free agent market, and now he's found a new home with Carolina, which fortifies its offensive line with the move.
