Personal Statement
I believe that once you make a commitment to something, you need to follow through with that commitment to the best of your ability - that goes for both academics and athletics. I currently have a 3.9 GPA and play soccer for Bloom Carroll High School as a Junior. I am currently a Junior at the Fairfield Career Center for the Pre-Nursing program and will attend classes there to finish out my high school education and prepare for college. When I go to college, I plan to study in the medical field - I would like to go into Nursing, Hospital Administration or Pharmacy.
Soccer is now my main athletic commitment and I train for it year round. When I am not playing with my school team in the fall or club team in the spring, I do conditioning over the winter months to keep up on my cardio and my foot speed. I think two of my greatest assets on the field are my quickness and my ability to apply pressure at any point on the field. I may be small in size, but I take up a lot of space and am not afraid to challenge anyone to win the ball.
I work hard both on and off the field. I consider this one of the main reasons that I am a leader for my current teams and a good prospect for college soccer. My dedication to the sport, my team and my academics make me a well rounded player who gives 100% on all levels.
