The Oregon Ducks (5-1, 3-0) try to keep their BCS dreams alive against the Colorado Buffaloes (1-6, 0-3) on Saturday. The Ducks are coming off a 14-point win over Arizona State while Colorado suffered a blowout loss against Washington last week.

Where: Folsom Field in Boulder, Colo.

When: Saturday, Oct. 22 at 3:30 p.m. EDT

Watch: FSN (check local listings)

Listen: KUGN 590 AM (Oregon) or KOA 850 AM (Colorado)

Betting Line: Oregon -32

Who Might Not Play For Oregon: RB LaMichael James (elbow)

James is listed as questionable for the game after suffering an elbow injury against California earlier in the month. The electric running back is averaging 165 yards per game thanks to an eye-popping nine-yard per carry per carry average.

Who Might Not Play for Colorado: WR Paul Richardson (knee)

Richardson, who is Colorado's top receiver this season, is questionable with a knee injury. The sophomore has caught 30 passes for 488 yards and five touchdowns this season as the main option for quarterback Tyler Hansen.

Key Storyline: Will Oregon run the table and if so, where does that leave the Ducks?

Oregon has six games left in the regular season, including a three-game stretch containing trips to Washington and Stanford before returning home to face USC. The Ducks will have a very strong résumé if they can win all six games, despite a season opening loss to LSU.

Due to conference matchups, several Top 10 teams are going to lose at least one game between now and early December. So Oregon can still position itself in a marquee bowl game when all is said and done.

BCS Implications

The BCS ranked Oregon 10th in the first release on Sunday. A win over an inferior Colorado team won't do much to help that stock, but a loss could certainly make it tumble. While a trip to the BCS National Championship Game remains a long shot, the Rose Bowl is an attainable goal.

What They're Saying

Anne M. Peterson of the Associated Press discusses Oregon's injury woes and how the team has been able to keep winning despite adversity.

The past two games have been scary for Ducks fans. First, they saw running back LaMichael James hit the turf with a dislocated shoulder against California. Then on Saturday night versus Arizona State, a falling Sun Devils player landed squarely on quarterback Darron Thomas’ legs.

The ninth-ranked Ducks (5-1, 3-0 Pac-12) hardly blinked. They defeated Cal 45-15, then rallied from a deficit to beat then-No. 18 Arizona State 41-27.

“One of the things we don’t talk about, we don’t talk about injuries,” Oregon coach Chip Kelly said. “We talk about it as an opportunity for someone else to go in and there is something to be said to that.”

Colorado won't be shedding any tears for Oregon, though. The Buffaloes are dealing with several key injuries of their own, as documented by Yahoo! Sports.

The injury-riddled Colorado Buffaloes have lost leading tackler Douglas Rippy to a season-ending knee injury and his cousin, top tailback Rodney Stewart, for up to a month.

Rippy, a junior linebacker, will undergo surgery soon. Coach Jon Embree said Monday night that Stewart will miss two to four weeks with a severely sprained knee. Both were hurt during Saturday’s loss at Washington.

Oregon Player to Watch: QB Darron Thomas

Thomas has utilized 14 different receivers to record 17 touchdowns and over 1,200 yards through six games. While the rushing attack, led by the aforementioned James and Kenjon Barner gets most of the attention, Thomas has been dominating in his own right.

Colorado Player to Watch: RB Tony Jones

With starting running back Rodney Stewart sidelined due to injury, Jones will continue working as the lead back against Oregon. The freshman scored two touchdowns last week against Washington and also made seven catches, making him a dual-threat option Oregon must account for on Saturday.

Key Matchup: Tyler Hansen vs. Oregon secondary

Oregon's defense is its weakness and, if Colorado has any chance of pulling off the mammoth upset, Hansen will need to have an extraordinary game. The senior has 13 touchdowns and just three interceptions so far, but will need to take his game to another level to keep pace with Oregon.

Prediction: Oregon 52, Colorado 17
